Maybe the Sly Stone of his generation, maybe just an attention-hungry lunatic, Kanye West is nothing if not eccentric. The singer has polarized his genre, drawn hate from a generation of Taylor Swift fans, and produced four chart-topping albums, all while revolutionizing fashion, pop-production and award show behavior.

He’s also in the business of pushing the envelope with his 35-minute music video, released with 2010’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy album.

Kanye West’s Movie Runaway

The movie from the rapper-singer-producer-cartoon voice is the video for his single “Runaway,” a song which features a toast to a number of unsavory nobody’s and unmentionable creeps. The video features the Victoria’s Secret model Selita Ebanks as a Phoenix that comes crashing through the atmosphere. While the video is produced by Kanye West himself, it does feature a writing credit from legendary video-producer Hype Williams.
