Best Western Left Bank Saint Germain

The Bulldogs flourished in 2009 with many of their players coming of age in a season that promised so much, but came crashing down at the penultimate hurdle. The Dogs narrowly went down to the Saints in a bruising encounter that, if nothing else, illustrated the Dogs’ capability of winning a Premiership with their current crop of players.

After a fiery start to the year that saw the Dogs triumph in the pre-season NAB Cup, they’ll now be raring to go for 2010 Premiership assault with a difficult first-up test against the Magpies. Despite their tough fixture, the Dogs have sent a clear message of intent to their challengers that they are ready for what any team has to throw at them. A solid season for these five players will see the Dogs easily qualify for the finals and, from there, anything could happen.

Backline – Andrejs Everitt

For a player with such potential, Everitt failed to live up to standard in 2009 enduring a arduous season which saw the leggy backman play only seven games for the year. However, when he was free from injury, Everitt made the most of his opportunities on the park with some notable performances as a tall defender and back-up ruckman.
